• Writing - He was a fiction writer. He mainly wrote stories and novels.

• History - He was deeply interested in history. He liked to visit historical places, and was able to narrate the history of those places like stories. He has also written historical stories and novels.
• Politics - He began his morning by reading newspapers and discussing the contents with his family. He had an active interest in Politics.
• Conversation - He was a good conversationalist. He liked to narrate stories to his children including grand children. He also wrote some of them.
• Food - He was a connoisseur of food. He liked to throw parties and to eat in company.
